4 naughty cocktails to spice up your next holiday party or game night
It’s that time of year, the holidays are in full swing which means plenty of parties and lots of booze. This year we wanted to spice things up, so we created 4 naughty cocktails to serve at your next holiday party that are simple to make and taste great (we even tested them with our friends).
"Oh What Fun It Is to Ride"
- 4 z Spiced Apple Cider
- 2 oz Fireball (cinnamon whiskey)
- 1 oz Orange Juice
- Cinnamon stick
Combine cider, fireball, and orange juice and simmer for 5-10 minutes (or microwave for 2). Serve in a hot drinks glass and garnish with a cinnamon stick.
- 1.5 oz Calvados or any apple brandy
- ½ oz Amaretto
- 3 oz Egg Nog
- 1 egg white
- Red Sprinkles
Use the lemon to coat the rim of a martini glass. Pour a generous number of red sprinkles onto a plate and lightly twirl the rim of the martini glass to create a sprinkle rim. Combine Calvados, amaretto, egg nog, egg white, and ice in a cocktail shaker and shake vigorously. Pour into the martini glass and serve.
Alternative: For a “milk and cookies” vibe, use crushed shortbread cookies to rim the martini glass.
lick the pole
- 1.5 oz Whipped Cream Vodka
- 1 oz Kahlua
- 1 oz Bailey's
- 1 hot chocolate packet
- 1.5 cups ice
- ½ cup of water
- Whipped cream
- Red sprinkles
- Magic chocolate shell (optional)
30 minutes prior to making the drink, put irish coffee mugs into the freezer to get frosty. Combine ½ cup of water and hot chocolate packet and microwave for 1 minute. Stir until all the powder is dissolved. Add ½ cup of ice and mix until the ice is melted (the hot chocolate should be cooled). Add vodka, kahlua, and baileys to cooled hot chocolate and mix. Pour into blender and add ½ cup of ice, blend well. Take mug out of freezer and drizzle magic chocolate shell on the inside. Pour blended hot chocolate into the mug and top with whipped cream and red sprinkles!
Trim the Tree
- 1.5 oz Gin
- 2 oz White Cranberry Juice
- ½ oz fresh squeezed lime juice
- 1 oz Simple Syrup
- Green sprinkles (optional)
- Rosemary + cranberries for garnish
- Star cookie cutter
Combine gin, white cranberry juice, lime juice, and simple syrup into a cocktail shaker. Add a few dashes of green sprinkles. Shake and strain into a collins (tall) glass with ice. Make a thin slice of the center of the apple and use the star cookie cutter to cut the apple. Make a small sliver into the apple and put on the side of the drink. Add rosemary and skewered cranberries. Looks like a Christmas tree!
Here's to hoping your holiday gets a little naughty.
